What is bootable media?

Hello friends, in this post I will tell you that what is bootable media?
First, we need to know what is media?
The Objects on which data can be stored. These include hard disks, floppy disks, CD-ROM's, and tapes.this types of objects is called media.

Now we understand about bootable.When we start up your computer.Until the desktop came there are lots of files that work in the background. These files are different for all operating system. for example
boot files of Windows 7/8/10

BOOTMGR – Found in the MBR this file boots up the Windows operating system
BCD (Boot Configuration Data) - is text file that lists the available OS found and tells the BOOTMGR where to find boot partition
WINLOAD.EXE- Loads the Windows Interface
NTOSKRNL.EXE- Windows Vista/7 Core Files
WIN.COM - Windows Vista/7 command file
HAL.DLL - Hardware Abstraction layer of Windows Vista/7

After that operating system is copied to that media. so that media will communicate by the computer's hardware and provide the platform to install an operating system.
